A pushback rack system contains a pair of rails and carts that are nested together. As an example, if you have 4 deep lanes, you will need to have 3 carts. The first cart is loaded by the forklift on the top rail. When the forklift returns with another pallet, you’ll be able to push back the first cart, giving you the ability to place the second pallet on the middle rail. Similarly, you’ll load up the 3rd cart by pushing it back and placing the next load on the bottom rail. You can then load up the last cart onto rails 1-3 and can rest easily from your work because all of your pallets are now loaded into carts in order from top to bottom!
